COMMUNITY
As an independent business, we place a lot of value on our community. We are involved with a number of charitable visual health organisations, both local and international as well as running a number of our own events to help raise awareness in our local community of the importance of eye health. As well as this, we also run an apprenticeship scheme to invest in local home-grown talent in our area!
We are Gold Supporters of Peek Vision, an organisation creating a low-cost smart phone adapter which will enable professional eye examinations anywhere in the world.

We work with Vision Matters to promote the annual National Eye Health Week (NEHW). Eye care charities, organisations and health professionals from across the UK join together to promote the importance of eye health and the need for regular sight tests for all.
We believe in not only helping our local communities, but giving back on a global scale. We are registered as an official collection point for old glasses/ spectacles to raise money for Vision Aid Overseas and ensure spectacles are recycled in an environmentally-friendly way.
The Oasis Centre in Gorton is a life line for the people of East Manchester. Optieye Care provide free eye health care for anyone who walks through the doors of the Oasis Centre. We want to help make a change to people's lives.
